Richard Herman, CIM®
Senior Portfolio Manager, Senior Investment Advisor
Richard brings over 40 years of experience in the investment industry to every interaction. Over the course of his career, he’s guided clients from the early stages of their career and family life through to retirement and the passing of wealth and legacy onto the next generation. That connection with clients is what drives him every day.
Richard began his career at a major financial institution and worked at a large wealth management firm before joining Richardson Wealth in search of an independent and entrepreneurial culture that allowed The Herman Team to provide clients with unbiased advice, lower fees, sophisticated technology, and insightful research. Many relationships he built early in his career are still clients today.
Richard graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours BA in Economics and is fully bilingual. He has the Level II Life Insurance license and remains active in the community by supporting the United Way, the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. He also offers a University of Ottawa bursary.
When he’s not supporting clients and his community, Richard likes to hike or ski in Tremblant, play golf and travel.

Patrick brings a unique perspective to the multi-generational team. His days are divided between managing client accounts, one-to-one interactions, portfolio trading and research. In his short year and a half with The Herman Team, Patrick has become a critical part of helping clients achieve their goals.
Interested in the industry from a young age, Patrick pursued an Honours BA in Economics with a focus in Management from the University of Ottawa.
